Phillip Sanchez Jr obituary
Phillip Sanchez Jr. of Hodgen was born Jan. 5, 1975 in Galveston, Texas to Phillip Sanchez, Sr. and Linda Runnels and passed away Dec.22, 2025 at his home in Hodgen at the age of 50.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Dec. 30, 2025 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in Hodgen Cemetery, under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Phillip was a longtime resident of the area and a member of Way to Victory Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors are his mother, Linda Runnels, of Hodgen; one aunt, Sharon Runnels, of Hodgen; one great-aunt, Kathy Stark, of Barling, Arkansas; one cousin, Debbie Cagle, of Plymouth, Indiana; one step-uncle, John Fox, of Hartford, Arkansas; several other cousins, one great-cousin, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Gerald and Rosalie Runnels; and a brother, Peter McCulley.
Pallbearers will be: his family.
Viewing is from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Paul Douglas Smallwood obituary
Paul Douglas Smallwood of the Haw Creek community was born July 9, 1950 in the Haw Creek community to Fred, Sr. and Velma (Ford) Smallwood and passed away Dec. 22, 2025 at his home in the Haw Creek community at the age of 75.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Hontubby Cemetery, under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Paul was a life-long resident of the area and a logger. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and driving. Paul will be deeply missed by all whom loved and knew him.
Survivors are the mother of his children, Henryetta Davis, of Heavener; one daughter Angelia Kay Newby and husband Donny of Poteau; three sons Rodney Carroll Smallwood of Heavener,
Paul Dale Smallwood and wife Jessica of Heavener, and Chuck Eugene Smallwood and wife April of Heavener; two sisters Nellie Watts and husband CJ of Heavener, and Mary Taylor of Heavener; three brothers Carroll Smallwood and wife Shirley of Heavener, Jesse Smallwood and wife Pauline of Heavener, and Clarence Smallwood and wife Mona of Heavener; 12 grandchildren Alexandra Williams, Jacob Rolf, Shawne Wilson, Shane Padilla, Dakota Padilla, Skyla Smallwood, Cody Dale Smallwood, Moriah Kilgore, Hannah Smallwood, Anna Smallwood, Aden Padilla and Konnie Kay Smallwood; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred, Sr. and Velma Smallwood; two sisters, Barbara Collins and Martha Kay Smallwood; three brothers, Edward Smallwood, JR Smallwood, and Jimmy Louis Smallwood.
Pallbearers are Nathan Smallwood, Jay Williams, Bryan Thompson, Shawn Smallwood, Christopher Smallwood and Laramie Thompson.
Viewing is from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday with the family visiting with friends from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
